Senate Bill 152 officially expired on December 31, 2010. In our continuing effort to promote underground facility protection and public safety, the Ohio Underground Damage Prevention Coalition was formed. Meetings are held the last Monday of every month at Columbia Gas of Ohio, 1600 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215, from 12pm to 3pm.
The purpose of the Ohio Underground Damage Prevention Coalition is:
"To biennially, at a minimum, evaluate the Ohio Revised Code as it relates to underground damage prevention in order to develop fair and reasonable public policy which provides a safe environment for the public and excavators by protecting Ohio’s underground utility infrastructure from excavation damage through educating and communicating the results of these efforts to state policymakers."
