NON-GOVERNMENTAL VOTING MEMBERS

The number of copies that are received by a member generates ticket costs billed on a monthly basis.

Ticket Receive Options / Database Options

  • Per Transmission System: A member will pay dues based on the Call Center's monthly transmissions to said member at a per message rate. This rate is determined utilizing the Call Center's expected annual operating expenditures, other revenue and ticket volume.

Service Area Selection

You are entitled to create a unique service area database utilizing the latitude and longitude grid system. The O.U.P.S. computer uses this database to screen incoming excavating locations.

Options

  • Grid Cell: Register underground facilities by selecting grids cells from a correlating USGS map supplied by O.U.P.S. or online using Newtin Member Maintenance. Grid cells are equivalent to .5 minute x .5 minute latitude / longitude.

  • Polygon: Register underground facilities by importing or creating a buffered utility database online. Service areas are defined by your company.

Additional Options available:

  • Polygon Overlay: A special feature for members who wish to highlight and segregate excavation work notices in close proximity to their high-priority underground facility. This feature will create a polygon and associated ticket specified by the member so a particular underground facility may receive special attention.
